Call me a "know nothing" because the West Elementary Building that you posted a bit ago seems to be what I recall as the Old Elementary Building. It stood on the corner next to our marvelous, curved roof (don't shoot too high - the downfall of Butch Pederson from Lake Mills when he played here)gymnasium. And I thought the building pictured here became known as the West Elementary? I don't know what I don't know.
No, the building being demolished is the former Northwood High School, Northwood-Kensett High School & then the West Elementary. The old one on the corner was demolished earlier, I don't know what year.
